Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 is one of my personal favorite comic book movies and one of the reasons for it is because I relate to Peter Quill. Just like how Quill lost his mom to cancer, I lost one of my uncles to cancer a year earlier so I felt like Star-Lord and I were in the same boat in 2014.

Today is Bat Appreciation Day where we celebrate and respect our flying mammal friends.

Match 420 is one of my personal favorite matches in the Kaiju War Chronicles because it perfectly showcases all of the franchises that Toho had a hand in over the decades. Not only does it showcase the Godzilla franchise, but also the Heisei Gamera trilogy, the Ultra Series, the two live-action Attack on Titan films, My Hero Academia's anime series and movies, the film adaptation of I Am A Hero and several others. It's just a lot of fun to see all of these different franchises be connected to each other in one compelling story and I look forward to see what other stories they come up with next.
